Founder, Nine-Twenty Productions
Ben Ross is the founder of Nine-Twenty Productions, a Detroit-based strategic content studio that helps organizations clarify their narrative and create compelling content around important initiatives.
With more than 20 years of experience in film and video production, Ben has worked across both Los Angeles and Metro Detroit, leading projects for global brands, growing companies, and mission-driven organizations. His work has supported clients including Ford, the University of Michigan, LegalZoom, Allergan Pharmaceuticals, the Virgin family of brands, and the KAABOO Music Festival, among others.
Ben has directed and produced a wide range of storytelling work — from commercial campaigns and branded content to documentary-style storytelling and corporate communications — often collaborating with high-profile talent and large creative teams.
Ben holds a degree in Film & Video Production from the University of Michigan as well as a Google Project Management Certification. Additionally, he is a 3x Telly Award winner, bringing both creative perspective and disciplined execution to the work he leads through Nine-Twenty Productions.
